Staying connected

To ensure you stay connected, ensure the following:

  • Your band is on your wrist, nice and snug!

  • Your band is not low on battery

  • Bluetooth on your phone is turned on

  • Your Bluetooth settings on your phone indicates the Garmin band is "connected"

  • Your Phone is in bluetooth range of your band/wrist. This can vary quite a bit, but typically the bluetooth range is about 3 meters.

  • Pro tip: If you enable Airplane mode, this can turn off bluetooth automatically. On iPhones, you can prevent this by turning on bluetooth the next time airplane mode is enabled. Your iPhone will now remember to leave bluetooth on next time airplane mode is enabled.

Wearing your Garmin band

  • You may want to loosen the band a notch or two while sleeping or wear it on the other wrist at night. This gives your skin a chance to breathe.

  • The band is waterproof, but instead of wearing it in the shower we recommend using this time to put it on the charger

  • Battery life should be 2-3+ days of continuous use. Charging it 15 minutes per day should be enough to keep it going indefinitely. The band will inform you when it is down to 10% charge.

Issues with connectivity

Example : "I wore the band last night. When i i woke up and opened Felix, it had not recorded a full night of sleep"

Please read our "Staying connected" section above as there are a number of reasons why your band can lose connection that is in your control.
